| You may know that I love painting wooden bowls, especially Hawaiian koa wood. A hand carved wooden koa bowl is an island family's treasure. It is one of the most beautiful woods for an artist to shape or paint. I paint the bowls with transparent watercolor and later carefully tear out the image, which is then attached to another piece of watercolor paper. |
