Backyard Orchid
| When I visit Hilo, I am always enchanted by the lovingly tendered gardens I see in everyone's backyards. Hilo is a very special place to me and I wanted to capture its magic by painting some of the orchids I photographed while visiting. As a watercolor artist, I love painting orchids because the medium lends itself well to the texture of the flowers and leaves. |
