| This image was painted in 1994. I enjoy painting ti leaves with the ocean background because of the way the complementary colors of the blue and orange come together. Hawaii boasts hundreds of different varieties of ti. This scene is from the island of Kauai, where "South Pacific" was filmed. The famous Bali Hai Mountains are included in the background. |
