Boo and Plumeria
| To me, plumerias are the essence of Hawaii. Their fragrance permeates the air everywhere, especially in my yard. We string lei for the arrival of visitors; we float them in little bowls on our tables, sprinkle our pillows with them, and wear them behind our ears. These yellow plumeria are especially hearty, and last quite a long time when stung into a lei. As you can see, my special companion Boo is reaching for her own flower. |
