Sunflowers
| I spent a month in France in 1989, and was captivated by the fields of sunflowers I saw while driving through the countryside. Sunflowers are a fun subject for a watercolor artist because of the bright yellows and warm colors of the seeds. The leaves are a combination of greens and manganese blue colors which contrast beautifully with the warm hues of the flower. Do you know that the face of the sunflower always follows the so, so the face travels from east to west everyday. |
