Manago Hotel
| The Manago Hotel on the Big Island is one of my favorite places to visit. It is a charming, old wooden building, and it also boasts a delightful home-style cooking restaurant famous for its pork chops. The lit Manago sign is a comfortable landmark in the area, evoking many memories for those of us who travel from Kona to Hilo on the south side of the island. One of my favorite memories of this restaurant is a sign on the cash register with a drawing of the dollar sign and the drawing of an ear...get it? Cashier! |
